Got a vapor genie the other day, I found it really easy to use straight away and have been higher in the last few days than I had been for years. I was smoking between 10 and 15 single skin joints a day , sometimes more, now smoking about 5 or 6 and vaping alot. Conserves your weed as well, I feel I could make my weed last at least twice as long now.

Only thing I wondered is whether inhaling butane exhaust a good idea. Still a lot better than smoke I am sure.

i just got my VG and it’s so hard to use! Im getting an AWFUL taste – it tastes like paint. I don’t have a good technique yet and I’m sure the taste is from burning the paint around the bowl— it’s hard to not let the flame touch the bottom of the bowl cuz you can’t even see where the flame is.. I’m trying to use it, I just wish it was easier. If i had to do it all over again, I’d add more money and get an electric vaporizer where I don’t have to worry about where the flame is and what it shouldn’t touch

Steps to using the VaporGenie perfectly:

1. Before refilling your V.G, make sure the previous vapored bud is all out. (or it will give your new bowl a possible ‘roach’ taste)
2. Break up the bud as much as you can by hand or grinder, and fill the bowl 3/4 full.(do not pack it tight!)
3. Before taking a hit make sure to exhale all the air in your lungs, because you have to hit it for 10-30 seconds. (depending how hard you hit it)
4. (By following up with multiple V.G users we concluded that holding the V.G sideways while hitting it gives a better cool/hot air current through the bud.) Thus bring the V.G to your lips. (sideways, or up right if you choose)
5. You must make sure not to let the lighter flame touch the outer metal, (or it will turn black) or the paint surrounding the metal. (will cause permanent damage!)
6. Holding lighter parallel to the inside of the bowl, aim the flame right in the middle of the bowl and do not let it go too far inside because it will burn the filter) then take your hit!
7. Every 2-3 hits get something with a point such as a pencil tip and just mix around the bud to get best results.

Is it more, the same, or less efficient than regular combustion smoking? Can you just put in a little and get the same effect as you would with a one hitter bat? I’m leaning toward getting one if it’s fairly efficient.

I bought a VaporGenie about 5 years ago, I also bought a Vapair (which I do not have the patience for due to the low quality material I have available). The VaporGenie has proven indispensable to me since I had a stroke and heart attack and decided not to smoke anything anymore. Even with mediocre to low quality material the VaporGenie does it for me between 3 & 6. Plus electricity can be an issue where I live.
